.Welcome to Ulvilden Working  German Shepherds, located at Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. We are a small breeder  who believes in breeding only select litters from females that we know are outstanding in conformation, intelligence, drive, and personality.

     We have owned and raised German Shepherd dogs for more that 30 years. We believe that we produce some of the finest working-dogs available. Our dogs have excellent temperaments, distinct markings, quick intelligence, and great drive.  We have found them to be outstanding in Track, Search & Rescue, Shutzhund, and as family  or personal guardian/companions.

     Our dogs are strictly working-line GSD's, making them perfect for tracking, herding, protection, search & rescue, and sport. They are sturdy, alert, agile and confident. Our dogs are instinctively protective without being aggressive.

     

     All of our breeding stock is Western Collage of Veterinary Medicine Certified for proper hips and elbow structure.

     Our puppies come from both German and Czech bloodlines.  These puppies are easy to train, well socialized and come to you ready to enjoy their new home.  We do not produce dogs with over angulated backs, we do produce med large or large dogs that are ideal family pets and companions or as working dogs trained in obedience, tracking, agility, and protection work.

     Our puppies are born in a heated whelping room and are allowed outside as they grow older, starting in a smaller area (for their safety) and when they get older roaming our 154 acre property.  Our dogs grow up with each other learning pack discipline and order.  The puppies are brought in to the house daily for socialization and familiarsation with being in a household.  They are taken for car rides (not in crate) to teach them how to sit in car as well as being started on the sit and come.

     Our German Shepherd puppies are well socialized with children and with other dogs. All puppies are micro-chipped, vet-checked, and have received their first set of vaccinations,and wormed (occationally twice). All our puppies are Canadian Kennel Club registered with a non breeding contract (removable with agreement)  Each leaves for it's new home with six weeks health insurance, a written guarantee and a puppy starter kit.

    When you come for a visit or to pick up your puppy you will be greeted by a happy intelligent, well adjusted puppy that has been raised in a happy family environment as well as in a pack setting with mom and older siblings and others learning pack order and manners.  These puppies will have the potential to succeed in any area.
